Some self-shot pieces I’ve worked on recently for BBC 5 live.

To coincide with the launch of Victoria Derbyshire’s book on cancer I went to the Christie hospital in Manchester to hear from three people who’d been affected by the disease.

Britain’s newest aircraft carrier is currently on sea-trials but training the pilots how to land and take off from it could take years.  That’s why BAE Systems invited me along to see the flight simulator and test pilots at work as they aim to cut years off the training schedule by using a multi-million pound version of Flight Sim (it’s actually quite a bit better than Flight Sim!).

In South Sudan they feed peanut pulp to the children to stave off the threat of more famine.  Anna Foster and I travelled there in Spring 2017 for this piece on BBC Newsround.

Anna Foster and I went to Mosul in Iraq in Winter 2016.  We filmed in camps set up for displaced people who’d fled Mosul.

We wanted to look at the number of different jobs in the National Health Service

For national poetry day I met a poet on a Pendolino.  A piece that was shot, cut and published in under two hours along with radio material.
